Channelly ("Channelly", "we", "us") is a marketplace-sync app for merchants who run stores on the OpoShop platform. It connects your store to your own eBay seller account so your products can be listed there, price and stock can be kept in step, and eBay orders can be brought back into your store to fulfil. This policy explains exactly what data passes through Channelly, why, and what we never touch.

The short version. We hold the access tokens for your OpoShop store and your eBay account, the product and order data needed to keep the two in sync, and nothing else. We never see or store card numbers. We do not sell data, and we do not use your catalogue or your buyers for anything other than running Channelly for your store.

1. What we collect

Your OpoShop store

When you install Channelly from the OpoShop App Store you authorise it via OAuth. We store the resulting access token, your store id and subdomain, and your store name and owner email as supplied by OpoShop. The token is what lets Channelly read your catalogue and create orders on your behalf; it is never shown in the interface and never sent to a third party.

Your eBay account

You connect your own eBay seller account in Setup. We store the eBay access and refresh tokens encrypted at rest, along with your eBay username, the ship-from location key and the business-policy ids you select. These credentials are used only to create and manage the listings and orders you ask for. They are never displayed back to you, never logged, and never shared. Disconnecting eBay in Settings deletes them.

Catalogue and listing data

eBay order data

For each eBay order Channelly pulls in, we store the eBay order id, the items and quantities, the order total, and the buyer information eBay supplies for shipping: the buyer's username, the ship-to name, address and phone. This is the same information you would see in eBay's own Seller Hub, and it is stored because it is exactly what is needed to create the corresponding order in your store so you can post the parcel.

eBay masks buyer email addresses on most marketplaces. Where no real email is supplied, Channelly generates an obviously synthetic placeholder on the reserved .invalid domain rather than inventing a plausible-looking address — nothing can ever be emailed to it.

What we never collect

2. How we use it

We do not sell your data, share it for advertising, or use your catalogue or buyer data to train models.

3. Where it goes

Channelly shares data only with the parties needed to do the job you asked for:

4. Storage, isolation and retention

Channelly stores data in its own dedicated database. Every record is scoped to a single store, and each store you install on gets its own separate records even when the same OpoShop account owns both — one store can never see another's listings, orders or settings.

Data is retained while the app is installed. Uninstalling stops all syncing immediately. Disconnecting eBay deletes the stored eBay credentials. To have your remaining data deleted, email us and we will remove it.

Channelly also implements eBay's Marketplace Account Deletion contract: if an eBay user closes their account, eBay notifies us and the data we hold that is derived from that eBay account is deleted.

5. Security

All data is transmitted over TLS. eBay credentials are encrypted at rest with authenticated encryption and are excluded from every API response by construction. Every request is scoped to the authenticated store. Actions with real-world consequences — publishing a listing, creating an order, notifying a buyer — are gated and, in production, additionally require a deliberate go-live switch.

6. Children

Channelly is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13.

7. Changes

We may update this policy; we will revise the "Last updated" date above when we do.
